Are you interested in a co-curricular activity where you don't need to sweat?  Join a club that requires you to do mental gymnastics rather than calisthenics.
The time commitment for math team is not great and meets are really fun!  Please consider joining math team, as you can do it simultaneously with other sports or activities.  Attendance at all meetings and/or meets is not necessary.
Please come to an informational meeting on Friday, 915 at 2:10 in room M-3 or speak to Mr. Robillard or any Athlete.  The 1st practice is next week.

The first meeting date for S2S (student to student) will be on Monday, September 25th

Meetings:  Tuesdays 2-4, starting  September 12

(Leave for sports practices when you need to…)

Where: Meet at the greenhouse.

Instructor:   Mrs. Masury

Description: Our summer garden is still producing lots of vegetables and flowers. We will start off by running a “mini farmer’s market” open to both the public and all three Kittery schools staff on Tuesday afternoons from 2-4.

This will run through October and then we will take a break until January when we start up the greenhouse.  From January to May we will be starting hundreds of seedlings. It is a great place to be on a cold winter day!  Late May, we host a big plant sale and then plant out the gardens. I will be looking for five paid summer garden interns to start once school is out.  Activities include running our farmer’s market, field trips to area gardens and some cooking lessons.

Things to keep in mind: if you play a sport, leave when you need to…  You don’t have to come every week.  Stop by and see if you like working in the garden or greenhouse.  School garden programs are very popular…they look great on college resumes!

Questions:  Mrs. Masury  amasury@kitteryschools.com

Starting:  Tuesday September 12
