In the news this morning, the Federal Government announced on Thursday that there would be no Social Security benefits increase in 2016.  The announcement affects the benefits of 70 million people in the US including retirees, disabled workers, spouses, and children who get Social Security benefits. The main reason for no cost-of-living increase next year is low gas prices.
