In the news today, it has been 40 days since Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico and 70 percent of the inhabitants are still without power. On top of that, the Puerto Rican government just cancelled a 300 million dollar contract with a small company from Whitefish, Montana to rebuild part of the island’s power infrastructure. The contract came under fire when it was revealed the company had only two employees when the contract was awarded.
