In the news today, the allegations of sexual harassment that began with the public firing of media mogul Harvey Weinstein, have reached Congress. Today the Committee on House Administration will convene a hearing on harassment in Congress.  It seems that under Federal law, the process for a victim to report and address grievances of sexual harassment are burdensome and encourage victims not to come forward. Interviews with over 50 people by the New York Times reveal that sexual harassment in Congress has a long history.
